Most healthcare software is designed by engineers who’ve never watched a nurse navigate an EHR during a 12-hour shift. We build differently. Our teams combine engineering depth with genuine respect for clinical workflows — creating software that helps providers deliver better care, not software that gets in the way. And we do it within the compliance frameworks that healthcare demands.
We Understand Healthcare Is Different
In healthcare, a data breach isn’t just a PR problem. It’s a HIPAA violation that can destroy a company. Our engineers treat PHI (Protected Health Information) with the seriousness it deserves — encryption, access controls, audit trails, and minimum necessary access aren’t afterthoughts. They’re the foundation.
A physician has 15 minutes per patient. A nurse juggles 6 patients simultaneously. If your software adds friction to their workflow, they’ll work around it — or refuse to use it entirely. We design for clinical speed: minimal clicks, smart defaults, and workflows that match how care is actually delivered.
Healthcare doesn’t start from scratch. Your product needs to work with Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, and dozens of other EHR systems. It needs to speak HL7 FHIR, handle CDA documents, and integrate with lab systems, imaging archives, and pharmacy networks. We’ve built these integrations.
When an AI model suggests a treatment or flags a diagnosis, the stakes are life and death. We build clinical AI with explainability, human-in-the-loop safeguards, and validation frameworks that clinicians and regulators trust.
HIPAA-compliant video consultations, asynchronous messaging, remote monitoring integration, e-prescribing, and scheduling. Built for the reality of virtual care — unreliable patient internet connections, provider multitasking, and the need for clinical documentation that flows into the medical record.
Patient-facing applications for appointment booking, secure messaging, lab result access, medication management, care plan tracking, and health education. Designed for accessibility — because your patients include 80-year-olds on tablets, not just tech-savvy millennials.
HL7 FHIR APIs, CDA document exchange, ADT feeds, lab interfaces, and bidirectional data sync with major EHR systems. We build the integration layer that connects your product to the healthcare ecosystem without creating data silos.
AI-powered diagnostic assistance, clinical documentation (ambient listening, note generation), medical image analysis, risk stratification, and predictive analytics for population health. Built with clinical validation, explainability, and human oversight as non-negotiable requirements.
Scheduling systems, revenue cycle management, claims processing, referral management, and operational analytics for clinics, dental practices, and healthcare organizations.
Patient management systems, treatment planning tools, imaging integration, and practice analytics. As part of Gigaverse — which also operates Top Dentistry — we have deep familiarity with the dental technology landscape.
We build software with HIPAA compliance requirements woven into every layer of the architecture — not bolted on before launch.
Important: Gigabit provides HIPAA-aware engineering services. We implement the technical safeguards required by HIPAA, sign BAAs, and work within compliant infrastructure. Full HIPAA compliance also requires administrative and physical safeguards that are your organization’s responsibility. We recommend working with a healthcare compliance consultant alongside our engineering team.

End-to-end development of a patient-facing or provider-facing healthcare application. Includes HIPAA-compliant architecture, EHR integration, and clinical workflow design. Typical timeline: 4–8 months. Typical investment: $50,000–$180,000.
Focused engagement to build FHIR-based integrations with specific EHR systems. Includes API development, data mapping, testing, and go-live support. Typical timeline: 6–12 weeks. Typical investment: $20,000–$60,000.
Ongoing engineers embedded in your workflow with healthcare domain experience and HIPAA-aware development practices. Typical investment: $12,000–$35,000/month depending on team size.
Build and validate AI models for clinical applications — from proof of concept through production deployment with appropriate clinical oversight and regulatory documentation. Typical timeline: 3–6 months. Typical investment: $40,000–$120,000.

There is no official “HIPAA certification” — HIPAA compliance is assessed through audits and self-assessments, not a certification body. What we provide is HIPAA-aware engineering: we implement the required technical safeguards, sign Business Associate Agreements, work within HIPAA-eligible cloud infrastructure, and produce documentation that supports your compliance posture.
Most likely, yes. We have experience integrating with Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, and athenahealth via FHIR APIs. If your EHR supports FHIR R4 (most major systems do), we can build bidirectional data exchange. For systems with non-standard APIs, we assess feasibility during our discovery phase.
We never use real PHI in development or testing environments. We use synthetic data that mirrors the structure and complexity of real clinical data. Our engineers access production systems only through controlled, audited pathways with minimum necessary permissions.
We build software that can meet FDA requirements for Software as a Medical Device (SaMD), including documentation of intended use, risk classification, and quality management system integration. For regulatory strategy, we recommend working with a regulatory affairs consultant who specializes in digital health.
Dental technology is a particular strength — Gigaverse also operates Top Dentistry, giving us deep familiarity with dental practice management, imaging workflows, treatment planning, and the specific needs of dental practices. We understand DEXIS, Dentrix, Open Dental, and the dental technology ecosystem.
Tell us about your healthtech product — what you’re building, who uses it, and what compliance requirements you’re navigating. We’ll give you straight answers about architecture, timeline, and fit.
