From Request to Productive Team Member

Day 1–3: Requirements Definition

You tell us what you need: role, seniority, tech stack, team culture, work hours. We match against our bench and pre-screened talent pool.

Day 4–7: Candidate Presentation

We present 2–3 pre-vetted candidates with portfolios, technical assessments, and video introductions. You interview them — same as you would a full-time hire.

Day 8–10: Selection & Onboarding

You select your team member. We handle contracts, equipment, and logistics. Your new engineer gets access to your tools and codebases.

Day 11–14: Sprint Zero

Your augmented engineer starts contributing. They attend standups, review the codebase, set up their dev environment, and pick up their first tickets. Our tech lead checks in daily during the first two weeks.

Frequently Asked Questions

Every Gigabit engineer goes through a 4-stage process: resume and portfolio review, technical assessment (live coding + system design), cultural fit interview, and a 2-week probation period on their first project. Our acceptance rate is approximately 8%.

By default, our engineers work Dhaka hours (UTC+6, 9 AM–6 PM). For US clients, we offer shifted schedules with 4–6 hours of overlap with US Eastern time. For European clients, we have near-full overlap with CET/BST.

We replace them within 2 weeks at no additional cost. Our replacement guarantee applies throughout the engagement. We also proactively monitor performance through our tech lead oversight system.

Yes. After 12 months of augmentation, you can extend a permanent offer to any Gigabit engineer. We charge a one-time transition fee (typically 2 months’ rate) to cover recruiting and replacement costs.
