Gigabit for Gyms & Studios/Case study: ONE Boulder Fitness
Case study · Boulder, Colorado

A 20-year Boulder club, found again.

ONE Boulder Fitness has been part of Boulder for 20 years. Online, it was almost invisible: its website's pricing and contact pages described a different gym in another state. We rebuilt it, and the inquiries started arriving.

The problem

A real club behind the wrong website.

ONE Boulder Fitness is a full-service independent club in downtown Boulder, with personal training, classes and day passes. Members knew it well. Someone searching for a gym in Boulder found a site whose pricing and contact pages belonged to a different gym in another state, so the people most ready to visit had no clear way to ask.

That is the leak this section of Gigabit is built around: a prospective member who can’t get an answer quickly goes somewhere else. For ONE Boulder Fitness the first fix was simply being findable and reachable.

What we rebuilt

Found, then answered.

A new website

Fast and written for Boulder, with the club's own prices, hours and services.

14 service pages

One for each thing the club offers, from day passes to personal training.

Google Business Profile and listings

The profile corrected, and the club's name, address and phone made consistent across the directories.

Inquiry forms that reach the desk

Day-pass and contact forms that email the front desk the moment they are sent.

A blog

A place for the club's own news and answers, which it can keep adding to.

Still to come

What we're measuring next.

These figures go on this page as they come in. If one turns out weak, we leave it out rather than dress it up.

Google clicks and impressions for the old site against the new one, from Search Console.

Calls and directions

From the club's Google Business Profile insights.

Day passes into members

How many day-pass visitors joined, from the club's own records.

Reply time

How quickly a web inquiry gets a first answer, measured from the form timestamps.

After that come Google Ads with a full-price intro offer and retention alerts for new members. Want to see what slow replies cost a club like this? Try the missed-inquiry calculator.
