Party Rentals/Guides/Get found on Google
Party rental marketing guide

Get your party rental business found on Google, not just Facebook.

Facebook keeps your regulars coming back. Google is where new customers look for a rental near them. Here is how to show up there too, step by step.

The short answer

Facebook reaches people who know you. Google reaches people who need you today.

Facebook shows your posts to people who already follow you or are in your local groups. A parent who just decided on a bounce house for Saturday does not scroll Facebook for one; they search Google and pick from the map results and the first few websites. If you are not there, that booking goes to whoever is. The fix is not to leave Facebook but to add four things Google needs.

Side by side

What each channel does for a rental business.

What you need
Gigabit
Facebook page
Found by people who have never heard of you
Map results and search for “near me” and town names
Mostly through shares and local groups
A page for each unit and town
Yes, on your own website
One page, posts scroll away
Reviews that help you rank
Google reviews count toward map results
Recommendations stay on Facebook
Booking and deposits
Booking page linked from the profile
Usually a message thread
Bringing past customers back
Weaker
Strong: posts, groups, messages
The steps

Four steps to show up on Google.

You can do all of this yourself. If you would rather we did it, that is what we do.

Step 1

Claim and complete your Google Business Profile

Pick the closest primary category (for example “Party equipment rental service”), set it up as a service-area business with the towns you deliver to, and add your hours, phone and booking link.

Step 2

Fill it with real photos and posts

Upload set-up photos of each unit and a post every week or two: a new unit, a weekend that still has openings, a seasonal offer. Reuse what you already post on Facebook.

Step 3

Give Google a website to rank

A Facebook page cannot carry a page per unit or per town. A simple site with one page for each unit and each town you serve gives Google something to show for “bounce house rental in [town]”.

Step 4

Ask every customer for a Google review

Send a short text the day after the event with a direct link to your review form, and reply to every review. Reviews on Google count toward the map results; reviews on Facebook do not.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Should I stop posting on Facebook?

No. Facebook keeps past customers coming back and is where many local parent groups share recommendations. The point is to add Google, where people who do not know you yet are searching, and send both to the same booking page.

I deliver and have no shop. Can I still show on Google Maps?

Yes. Set your Google Business Profile up as a service-area business: you list the towns you deliver to and hide your home address. You show in the map results for searches in those towns.

How long until I show up on Google?

A complete profile can start showing for searches near you within weeks. Ranking above established competitors in a busy area takes longer and depends mostly on reviews, photos and having useful town pages.

Do I need to pay for Google Ads?

Not to start. Ads can help fill specific weekends, but the free map listing and your own website pages are what bring bookings month after month without paying per click.
