Dentists/Dental websites
Dental practice website design

A dental website built to get the call.

A website that lets a new patient find out whether you take their insurance, what a procedure involves and how to reach you, then call or book in one tap. Built and kept up by a Gigabit team, within ADA and HIPAA limits.

The short answer

A practice website has one job: turn someone looking for a dentist into a call or a booking.

Patients usually arrive on a phone, from Google, with a practical question: do you take my plan, can you do this, are you close, are you open? A site that answers quickly and lets them call beats a prettier one full of stock smiles.

The checklist

What a dental practice website needs

Use it to judge your current site, whether or not you hire us.

Call or book in one tap

A phone number that dials when tapped and your online booking, if you use it, on every page. New patients often decide on the first screen.

A page for each procedure you offer

What it involves, who does it and how costs work, in plain words, read by a dentist in your practice before it goes live.

A page for each insurance plan you take

So a patient checking whether you accept their plan gets a clear answer and a phone number.

Your dentists, truthfully

Real names, photos, training and experience, with no specialist or "best dentist" claim you can't back up.

Hours and address that match Google

The same on your website, your Google profile and your listings, including holidays.

Fast on a phone, usable by everyone

Compressed photos, readable contrast, alt text, labelled forms, and pages that work with a keyboard.

Forms and tracking kept apart

Third-party tags kept off appointment forms and anywhere patients enter details.

Dentist structured data

Accurate structured data for your practice, matching what your pages and profile say.

How we build it

Live in weeks, then kept up

01

Free practice audit

We read your site on a phone and call your practice in and out of hours, as a new patient would.

02

Pages and rules check

We draft procedure and insurance pages with you, and check wording against your state board's rules.

03

Build

Tap-to-call, booking, dentist pages, structured data and forms, tested on phones.

04

Run

Hours, plans, dentists and pages kept current, with a short monthly report.

What we will not do

No “best dentist” or unearned specialist claims, no articles under a dentist’s name they did not write, no stock before-and-after photos, and no ad tags on patient forms. The ADA code covers the first three, HHS has guidance on online tracking (part of it was vacated by a court in 2024), and the Department of Justice lists common web accessibility barriers. Your state board may be stricter, so we check its rules too.

A website is half of it; the other half is being found. Read the dental SEO guide, or see dental SEO services. Looking for a dentist as a patient? Top Dentistry is our sister directory.

Dental website questions

Can we keep our booking and patient forms?

Usually, yes. Where your practice software or booking tool offers a link or a widget, we build the site around it. We check how it handles patient details before connecting it.

Do we own the website?

Yes. The domain stays in the practice's name, and if you leave we hand over the content and photos.

Who writes the clinical pages?

We draft them, and a dentist in your practice reads and corrects every clinical page before it goes live. We never publish an article under a dentist's name that the dentist didn't write, and a reviewed-by line appears only when that review really happened.

Can you make our site HIPAA compliant?

No website is compliant just by being built a certain way, since compliance covers how your practice handles information overall. We keep tracking tags off patient forms and agree how any patient information is handled, with a business associate agreement if it is involved. Your compliance adviser remains the one to ask.

Is the site ADA accessible?

We build to common accessibility practice and check the barriers the Department of Justice lists, such as color contrast, alt text, keyboard use and labelled forms. That reduces barriers, but it isn't legal advice or a guarantee.

Can you move us from our current website company?

Yes. We move your pages and photos and set up redirects from old addresses, so you keep what search engines already know about you. Check your current contract first, including who owns the domain.

What does it cost?

One monthly fee. The plan depends on your locations and what the site needs, so start with the free practice audit and we'll tell you which plan fits and what it costs.
