Four hours behind Sydney. Every afternoon shared.
Most offshore teams hand Australian clients a night shift or a twelve-hour wait. Dhaka is four hours behind Sydney. Your afternoon is our working day, and Perth shares seven hours of it.
How Gigabit works with Australian organisations.
Gigabit builds AI agents and the software around them for Australian organisations from an engineering hub in Dhaka, Bangladesh, four hours behind Sydney and two behind Perth. On a normal working day that leaves four to five shared hours on the east coast and seven in Perth, every afternoon.
The contract is with our US entity and the prices are the published US-dollar ones. What is specific to Australia is the Privacy Act: from 10 December 2026 a privacy policy has to disclose where a computer program makes, or substantially helps make, decisions that significantly affect people. An AI agent can put you in scope, so we document the decisions each agent makes as part of the build.
The afternoon is shared, coast to coast.
Dhaka does not observe daylight saving, so the east-coast gap widens by an hour from October to April.
Shared hours are arithmetic on a 09:00–18:00 working day in each city, not a service-level promise. Engineering and delivery run from Dhaka; the contracting entity is in Wyoming, USA. Calls outside the shared window are booked by arrangement.
What an Australian engagement looks like.
Stand-ups after lunch
The shared window opens at 1pm Sydney time. Daily stand-ups, pairing and reviews happen live in your afternoon instead of by overnight message.
One contract, in US dollars
You contract with Gigaverse Global LLC, a US company registered in Wyoming that trades as Gigabit. One agreement, one invoice, in US dollars. There is no Australian entity, so talk to your accountant about how GST applies to an imported service.
Data stays onshore if you need it to
Agents and services are deployed into your own cloud account. If your data must stay in an Australian region, it stays there; our engineers work in your environment rather than copying data out.
A decision register with every agent
Each agent ships with a plain-language list of the decisions it makes or informs and the personal information it uses, which is what the December 2026 privacy-policy rule asks you to disclose.
Australian rules we build to.
The Privacy Act is mid-reform. These are the parts that change how an AI system is designed.
Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles
The thirteen APPs govern collection, use, disclosure and overseas transfer of personal information. APP 8 makes you accountable for what an overseas recipient does with it, which is why our default is to work inside your environment.
oaic.gov.au ↗Automated-decision transparency (APP 1.7–1.9), from 10 December 2026
Privacy policies must describe the kinds of decisions made, or substantially informed, by computer programs using personal information where those decisions significantly affect individuals. The regulator's guidance counts generative AI and chatbots as computer programs, and human review does not by itself take a decision out of scope.
oaic.gov.au ↗This is an engineering summary, not legal advice. Your counsel decides what applies to you; we build to what they decide and sign a data processing agreement on request.
Same offers, same published prices.
Prices are in US dollars and are the ones on the pricing page. There is no regional rate card.
We have no Australian office, entity or ABN, and we invoice in US dollars, not Australian dollars. Our published case studies are mostly North American; we do not have an Australian client reference to show you yet. If onshore staff or an Australian contracting party is a procurement requirement, we cannot meet it.
Questions Australian buyers ask
What time zone overlap does Gigabit have with Australia?
Dhaka is four hours behind Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra, five during daylight saving, and two hours behind Perth. On a 09:00–18:00 day in both places that is five shared hours on the east coast, four during daylight saving, and seven in Perth.
Does the December 2026 Privacy Act change affect AI agents?
It can. From 10 December 2026 privacy policies must disclose the kinds of decisions that computer programs make or substantially inform using personal information, where those decisions significantly affect people. The regulator treats generative AI and chatbots as computer programs. Whether a given agent is in scope is a question for your privacy adviser; we supply the list of decisions and data each agent uses so it can be answered.
Can our data stay in Australia?
Yes. We deploy into your cloud account in the region you choose and work inside your environment with least-privilege, time-bound access. Code lives in your repositories and data stays on your infrastructure wherever possible.
Do you invoice in Australian dollars?
No. There is one price list in US dollars: for example $8,000 fixed for a three-week Quick Win Sprint, agents from $8,000 flat, and embedded engineers at $3,000–$7,500 per engineer per month.
