Odoo, implemented by engineers.
Odoo can run sales, stock, purchasing, manufacturing and accounts from one database. We implement it, write the modules it lacks, connect it to your store and bank, and keep it upgradable.
What Gigabit's Odoo services cover.
Gigabit is an Odoo Partner. We implement Odoo for growing companies, develop custom modules, integrate it with e-commerce, banking and shipping systems, migrate data from older systems, and upgrade databases between versions.
The rule that keeps an Odoo project healthy is simple and often ignored: configure before you customise, and write every customisation as a proper module. Databases edited directly are the ones that cannot be upgraded three years later.
The Odoo work we take on.
Configure first, customise as modules, and never lose the ability to upgrade.
Implementation
Process mapping, app selection and configuration for CRM, sales, inventory, purchasing, manufacturing and accounting, rolled out in stages rather than all at once.
Custom modules
Python modules and interface components for the processes standard Odoo does not cover, written to survive upgrades and kept in your repository.
Integrations
Orders, stock and prices synchronised with Shopify, WooCommerce and marketplaces, plus bank feeds, payment providers and shipping carriers.
Data migration
Customers, products, open orders, stock levels and opening balances moved from spreadsheets or a legacy ERP and reconciled before go-live.
Version upgrades
Odoo supports its three most recent major versions, so each autumn release retires one. We upgrade databases and port custom modules before support runs out.
Hosting and operations
Odoo.sh or your own cloud, with staging environments, backups that have been restored, and monitoring.
Odoo 20 put agents in the ERP. They are useful once the data is right.
An agent that can create and change records needs a database you trust.
Built into the platform
Odoo 20, released in September 2026, expanded the Artificial Intelligence app inside the ERP.
- Agents that can create and update records across Odoo apps, with capabilities grouped into skills.
- Voice interaction, and a connection to outside tools through the Model Context Protocol.
- AI features draw on prepaid credits, so heavy use has a running cost to plan for.
Agents for operations
The work that eats an operations team is matching, chasing and re-keying. Those are the first jobs worth handing to an agent.
- Vendor emails parsed into confirmed dates and tracking numbers on the purchase order, with delays chased automatically.
- Stock reconciliation across warehouse and sales channels that fixes known causes and surfaces only real exceptions.
- Customer service answers drawn from live orders, deliveries and invoices.
- A human approval step on anything that moves money or stock, by default.
Published prices, mapped to the job.
Every figure here is the same one on the pricing page. Nothing on this platform is quoted from a separate rate card.
A price marked “from” buys the base scope set out on the pricing page. Anything larger is quoted as a fixed price before work starts. Work with no natural end, such as ongoing development, is priced per engineer per month with no lock-in.
When Odoo is the right call, and when it is not.
- Inventory, purchasing or manufacturing is central and you want it in the same system as sales and accounts.
- You want the option of open source and self-hosting, with a commercial edition available.
- You are replacing several disconnected tools and spreadsheets with one database.
- A services business that mainly needs CRM and invoicing. Zoho or HubSpot is lighter to run.
- A large enterprise with complex multi-entity finance. NetSuite or SAP exists for a reason.
- You want no technical involvement at all. Odoo rewards having a developer within reach.
Questions Odoo teams ask
How much do Odoo services cost with Gigabit?
An Odoo implementation starts at $15,000 fixed and is delivered in phases: process mapping, configuration of up to four core apps, data migration, training and go-live support. Manufacturing, multi-company and custom-module work is quoted higher, as a fixed price before work starts. One scoped integration or workflow is $8,000 fixed over three weeks, and custom modules and version upgrades are an embedded pod at $3,000–$7,500 per engineer per month. Odoo's own licence fees are separate and paid to Odoo.
Odoo vs Zoho vs ERPNext: which fits a growing company?
Odoo is the broadest: sales, inventory, manufacturing, accounting and e-commerce in one database, with an open-source Community edition and a paid Enterprise edition. Zoho is a cloud-only suite that is strongest in CRM, finance and support, and suits service and sales-led companies without heavy stock. ERPNext is fully open source with no per-user licence and is strong in manufacturing and accounting, but has a smaller ecosystem and fewer implementers. Choose Odoo for operations depth, Zoho for the least upkeep, and ERPNext when you have technical staff and want no licence fees.
Odoo Community or Enterprise?
Community is free and open source and covers the core apps. Enterprise adds full accounting, the Studio customisation tool, mobile apps, hosting options and official upgrade support, for a per-user fee. Companies that need accounting in Odoo usually end up on Enterprise. Those using it mainly for inventory or manufacturing with their own developers can stay on Community.
Which Odoo versions are supported?
Odoo supports its three most recent major versions and releases a new one each autumn. With Odoo 20 released in September 2026, that means versions 18, 19 and 20, and databases on 17 or earlier should plan an upgrade.
Is Gigabit an Odoo Partner?
Yes. Gigabit is an Odoo Partner. That gives us access to Odoo's partner resources and upgrade tooling; it does not change what you pay Odoo for licences.
