Offshore software development company · delivery from Dhaka

Offshore software development, run by senior engineers in Dhaka.

Gigabit's engineering and delivery hub is in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Work runs on your sprint board, in your Slack and your repositories, under one US contract and one invoice in US dollars. Two ways to buy it: an embedded team priced per engineer per month, or a fixed price for defined scope.

The short answer

What an offshore software development company should be clear about.

Offshore delivery saves money when the team is senior, the process is yours and the overlap hours are agreed in advance. It wastes money when it means résumés, a ticket queue and handoffs nobody owns. Gigabit is an AI-native software factory with its delivery hub in Dhaka: named senior engineers who work in your tools, to your code-review bar, with AI agents taking the repetitive work. You contract with Gigaverse Global LLC, a Wyoming company trading as Gigabit.

The published example is a Series B HR tech company that had two senior seats open for four months. Three embedded engineers from Dhaka cost $14,400 a month, opened their first pull requests in five days and raised sprint velocity 2.3 times, which saved $392,400 a year against the US hires the company had priced. Async updates posted at 5:30 PM in Dhaka reached the US team at 7:30 AM Eastern, and stand-ups ran twice a week in a two-hour overlap.

How it runs

How an offshore engagement runs.

01

Agree the model

A 30-minute call decides embedded team or fixed price, the overlap hours and the first milestone.

02

Assemble

Named senior profiles against your spec within days; you interview and choose.

03

Ship

First pull request by about day five, two-week sprints, a demo of working software at the end of each.

04

Scale or stop

Grow the team after the trial, swap an engineer if the fit is wrong, or stop with no lock-in.

How it is priced

Published prices, mapped to the job.

Every price here is the same one on the pricing page. Work with no published price gets a fixed price in writing before it starts.

Figures in the notes are what past clients paid, from the published case studies; they show the range, not a rate card. Work with no natural end, such as ongoing development, is priced per engineer per month with no lock-in.

An honest read

When to hire us for this, and when not to.

A good fit when
  • Senior seats have been open for months, or the roadmap is longer than your team.
  • Your team works in English, in tools like Slack, GitHub, Jira or Linear.
  • You want to own the code and steer the work, not hand off a spec and wait.
  • A daily overlap of a few hours plus async updates suits how you work.
Look elsewhere when
  • The work needs people on site or in regular in-person meetings.
  • You want the cheapest hourly rate available. Our engineers are senior and priced for that.
  • You need a nearshore team in your own time zone all day. Dhaka overlaps with the US for part of the day, not all of it.

FAQ

Offshore development, answered

How much does offshore software development cost?

An embedded team costs $3,000–$7,500 per engineer per month, with a 2–4 week trial and no lock-in. In the published HR tech engagement, three engineers cost $14,400 a month. Defined builds get a fixed price in writing after scoping; a published logistics SaaS MVP cost $48,000 against US quotes of $120,000 to $220,000.

What are the overlap hours with the US and Europe?

Dhaka is UTC+6 all year, with no daylight saving. In the published US engagement, async updates sent at 5:30 PM in Dhaka arrived at 7:30 AM Eastern, and stand-ups ran twice a week in a two-hour overlap. With Central Europe a 09:00–18:00 day in both places shares four hours in winter and five in summer.

Offshore or nearshore?

Nearshore teams sit in or near your time zone, which suits work that needs live collaboration all day. Offshore teams overlap for part of the day and work async the rest, usually at a lower cost. Dhaka is offshore for the US and Europe. Choose it when a few overlap hours and good async habits are enough, which is true for most product work.

Who do we sign the contract with?

Gigaverse Global LLC, a Wyoming company trading as Gigabit. You get one contract and one invoice, in US dollars. The code sits in your repositories and the data stays in your infrastructure; we sign an NDA, and engineers work with minimal, time-limited access.

How is this different from staff augmentation?

You work with named senior engineers under Gigabit's technical lead, inside your process, and the team is accountable for what ships. Staff augmentation sends résumés and bills hours. The difference is set out with prices on our embedded team vs staff augmentation comparison.
