The rules

Every deal, the same way.

  • Real deadlines. 11:59 pm US Eastern on the date shown. Never extended.
  • Places match capacity. When a line is full it stays full unless a place is released.
  • One per company. One deal from each line, and no codes or other offers on top.
  • Same terms as full price. The same scope, the same refund rules, the same team.
  • Renewals shown up front. Every founding rate says what you pay afterwards, and we email you before it changes.
  • Honest comparisons. “Standard price” is what we charge outside the sale. Prices opened this autumn are called launch or founding prices, never “was” prices.

Questions about the sale

When does each deal end?

Each deal ends at 11:59 pm US Eastern on the day on its card, and the checkout closes by itself. We never extend a deal that was advertised as ending. The last deal closes on Jan 31, 2027.

What if I'm paying when the deadline passes?

A checkout you opened before the deadline can be paid within 30 minutes. A US bank payment (ACH) that clears days after the deadline keeps the price, and so does your place.

Can I combine a deal with a code or another offer?

No. Deals don't stack with codes, referral credit or other offers, and each company can take one deal from each line on this page.

What happens when a founding rate's months are up?

Your plan carries on at its standard monthly price, month to month. A few days before the first full-price payment we email you the amount and the date, and you can cancel by email at any time; the plan ends when the paid month does.

What does the case study involve?

We write a short account of the work and its results, with numbers only if you agree to them. You approve it before anything is published, and it says you paid a founding price. We never ask for a public review in return for a price.

Why are there limits on places?

Each cap is what the team can deliver on time. When a line sells out it stays sold out unless a place is released, for example by a refund.

Can I get a refund?

The same terms as at full price: a full refund any time before the kickoff, and after it, if we don't deliver the scope, we fix it at no cost or refund the part not delivered. A Build Lock deposit is refunded in full if you cancel before the January kickoff.

I'm outside the US. Can I take part?

Budget Lock deals can be bought from anywhere by card, and we can invoice instead if you book a call. Founding rates on the local-business plans are for one US location. Solar founding places are open in Australia, the UK and the US.
