Business process automation for the work your team repeats every day.
Orders, returns, invoices, onboarding, reporting and follow-ups, automated across the systems you already run, with a person kept in the loop where a mistake would cost money. One workflow from $8,000 fixed, live in three weeks.
What business process automation services should deliver.
Business process automation means taking a process people run by hand, step by step, across several tools, and having software run it instead: the data moves on its own, the routine decisions follow written rules, and people only see the exceptions. Gigabit builds these automations on n8n, Make or Zapier when a workflow tool fits, and in code when the logic outgrows a canvas. Where a step needs judgment that fixed rules cannot capture, such as reading a free-text email or classifying a return reason, a language model does that one step, inside guardrails.
The published numbers: five automations for a $28M multi-channel e-commerce operation cut the team's manual work from 32 hours a week to 4.5, process 85% of returns with nobody involved, and lifted inventory accuracy from 94.2% to 99.1%, about $87,000 of impact in year one. A 140-person consulting firm recovered 1,200 hours a quarter once proposals, time capture and reporting were automated, with a 5.3-month payback.
The processes we automate most.
Each automation ships with logging, retries, failure alerts and a path for the records it cannot process, so you can see it working.
Order and returns operations
Eligibility checks, labels, refunds, stock updates and customer emails across Shopify, Amazon, marketplaces and the ERP.
Finance and back office
Invoice capture, purchase orders, reconciliation and approvals between the bank, the accounting system and the ERP.
Sales and CRM
Lead routing, enrichment, follow-ups and handovers in HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive, with clean data at every step.
Onboarding and HR
Accounts, documents, access and checklists for new customers, staff or vendors, created and chased without email threads.
Reporting
Scheduled reports pulled from every system and delivered before the working day starts, instead of copied into a spreadsheet.
AI steps where rules break
Reading emails and documents, classifying requests and drafting replies, with confidence thresholds and a human approval on anything costly.
From the first workflow to the next ten.
Map
Time each process, count its volume and rank the workflows by hours saved and risk.
Build
Automate the top workflow first, with error handling and a test set of real past cases.
Launch
Run it beside the manual process, compare the results, then switch over.
Extend
Add the next workflows in order of payback, and monitor the ones already live.
Published prices, mapped to the job.
Every price here is the same one on the pricing page. Work with no published price gets a fixed price in writing before it starts.
Figures in the notes are what past clients paid, from the published case studies; they show the range, not a rate card. Work with no natural end, such as ongoing development, is priced per engineer per month with no lock-in.
When to hire us for this, and when not to.
- People spend hours a week moving data between tools by hand.
- The process runs often enough that minutes per case add up to days.
- You can say what the right outcome is for a typical case.
- The systems involved have APIs or exports we can be given access to.
- The process runs a few times a month. Write a checklist instead.
- Nobody agrees how the process should work yet. Settle that first; automation makes a muddled process fail faster.
- A native integration between two of your tools already does it. Switch that on.

Business process automation, answered
How much do business process automation services cost?
One workflow, scoped, built and deployed with up to three tool integrations and error handling, is $8,000 fixed over three weeks. The $25,000 AI Transformation Sprint ranks every process by payback and ends in a deployed pilot. Several workflows run on an embedded team at $3,000–$7,500 per engineer per month, and monitoring after launch is Managed AI Operations from $3,000 a month.
What is the difference between business process automation and RPA?
RPA (robotic process automation) drives an application's screens the way a person would, which helps when a system has no API but breaks when the screen changes. Business process automation in our sense connects systems through their APIs and data, which is faster and more reliable. We use screen-level automation only when there is no other way in.
Which tools do you use: n8n, Zapier, Make or code?
Zapier for a few simple connections owned by non-technical staff, Make for branching workflows at moderate volume, n8n when volume, custom code or data control matter, and plain code when logic is complex or must run in real time. Many systems mix them. Our n8n vs Zapier vs Make comparison sets out the trade-offs with current prices.
Where does AI fit into process automation?
In the steps fixed rules cannot handle: reading a free-text email, classifying a return reason, extracting fields from a document. The model does that one step, its output is validated, and anything below a confidence threshold or costly to undo goes to a person. The rest of the workflow stays deterministic.
What happens when an automation fails?
Every workflow has retries, a path for records it cannot process and an alert to a named person. Failed records wait in a queue to be fixed and replayed, so nothing is lost silently. After launch, Managed AI Operations can watch them for you.
